Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Latino male.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Jose Gonzalez-Ramos.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.
The decedent was shot by LAPD near an elementary school in North Hollywood at around 1:00 p.m.
He had allegedly fatally stabbed his wife earlier.
