(L.A.) Joris Pierret, 23, Died From a Meth OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Joris Pierret.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP JORIS PIERRET (August 9, 2000 – July 1, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 7:12 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in November, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
