(L.A.) Jorge Jimenez, 38, Died from Ethanol Intoxication

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Latin American male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jorge Jimenez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Ethanol Intoxication

RIP JORGE JIMENEZ (September 18, 1970 – May 11, 2009)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 2:44 a.m.

This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much over a short period of time.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
