(L.A.) Jorge Garcia Jr., 29, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jorge Garcia Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Fentanyl Intoxication

RIP JORGE GARCIA JR. (April 25, 1995 – March 24, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 7:35 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 25, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
