(L.A.) Jorge Chavez, 29, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jorge Chavez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday morning.

At around 9:32 a.m., Baldwin Park Police received multiple 9-1-1 calls about a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Baldwin Park Boulevard and Los Angeles Street.

The motorcyclist was transported to a hospital where he died about an hour later.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Jorge Chavez” in public records.
