(L.A.) Jorge Cebrero Romero, 49, Died at a Parking Garage

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Latino male that occurred at a parking garage.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jorge Cebrero Romero.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hypertrophic Heart Disease

Other Significant Condition: Methamphetamine Effects

RIP JORGE CEBRERO ROMERO (January 16, 1976 – April 22, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 9:58 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 21, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Jorge Cabrero.
