Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jonathan Marquis.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl

RIP JONATHAN MARQUIS (September 12, 1978 – August 27, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 3:27 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on December 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
