Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Latino male that occurred in a park recreation area.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jonathan Garcia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 8:02 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 12, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
