(L.A.) Johnny Junious, 66, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Johnny Junious.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Congestive Heart Failure and Cocaine Toxicity

Other Significant Conditions: End-Stage Renal Disease; Iron Deficiency Anemia, Atrial Fibrillation; History of Staphylococcus aureus Infection; Osteomyelitis

RIP JOHNNY JUNIOUS (October 12, 1957 – March 24, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 6:51 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the coke.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
