(L.A.) Johnathan Navarro, 15, Died in a Yard

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 15-year-old Latino male that occurred in a yard.

The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as Johnathan Navarro.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Ethanol Intoxication

RIP JOHNATHAN NAVARRO (September 9, 2007 – June 17, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:05 a.m.

The government investigator changed the spelling of the decedent’s forename from Jonathan to Johnathan on the morning of June 24.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 27. The death appears to have been alcohol poisoning after a bout of drinking too much.

Alcohol deaths are classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
