(L.A.) John Morris, 75, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 75-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as John Morris.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Cocaine, Fentanyl, Fluorofentanyl, and Oxycodone Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-December, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.
