Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 77-year-old Black male that occurred on a highway.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as John Allen.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Neck Injury

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 11:34 p.m.

California Highway Patrol stated that a person was fatally injuired in a single-vehicle crash in Lancaster, in the area of East Avenue K and 120th Street East, at around 11:15 p.m.
