Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Caucasian female that occurred at a residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Joanna Goode.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Heroin Toxicity
Other Significant Condition: Cocaine and Methamphetamine Effects

The decedent was a Hollywood-based actress born in St. Louis, Missouri.
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:14 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 12, after the results of the tox panel came back.
This breaks my heart. Jo told me that she sobered up about 20 years ago and I’d never considered that she started using again. I loved her and I’ll always remember what kind of a person she was. She was the kind of person who made life worth living.
