(L.A.) Jimmy Godinez, 37, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old Latino male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jimmy Godinez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP JIMMY GODINEZ (July 28, 1985 – June 7, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 6:11 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 21, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

This was an accidental drug overdose.
