Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jhon Perez- Benavides.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Toxic Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP JHON PEREZ- BENAVIDES (June 2, 1990 – June 24, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 4:54 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
