(L.A.) Jevon Belezaire, 33, Died in a Metro Tunnel

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Black male that occurred inside a Metro tunnel.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jevon Belezaire.

Height: 6 feet 2 inches / Weight: 150 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Electrocution

RIP JEVON BELEZAIRE (May 4, 1993 – November 11, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday night.

The decedent was found in the tunnel between between Westlake Station and 7th/Metro Station.

LAFD responded at 6:20 p.m.

Reference address: 662 South Alvarado Street

The decedent had just been arrested by LAPD at 8424 S Western Avenue on October 31. He had another arrest in 2022 for assault.
