RIP JESUS QUESADA (January 14, 1956 – February 7, 2024)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 6:30 a.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 12, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
Methamphetamine use has been increasingly associated with intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), a serious type of stroke characterized by bleeding within the brain. Research indicates that methamphetamine users face a significantly higher risk of ICH, estimated to be 2 to 5 times greater than that of the general population.
