(L.A.) Jesus Porcayo, 1, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a one-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the child as Jesus Porcayo.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Chronic Malnutrition

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

On December 28, Annabelle Andrea Porcayo was arrested on Riverside Drive by LAPD on the allegation of assaulting a child with fatal consequences. At the time, she was 23 years old, stood 4 feet 11 inches, and weighed 114 pounds.

She is currently being held at the Century Regional Detention Facility (“Lynwood Jail”), unable to post even 10% of the $255,000 bail amount. Her next court date is June 8 and she is being represened by two public defenders.
