(L.A.) Jessica Barbour, 28, Died in a Tent

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Black female that occurred in a tent.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Jessica Barbour.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP JESSICA BARBOUR (April 28, 1995 – October 8, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 3:23 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 19, after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
