RIP JEREMIAH TASH ( May 4, 2026)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday night.
This was that incident on the eastbound I-10 just west of Robertson Boulevard where KTLA mistakenly reported the victim was a woman who died form a vehicular fire. The decedent was in fact a man who had just moved back to California from Texas that day.
According to witnesses, an aggressively speeding driver lost control, crossed four lanes and violently hit a blue Toyota Prius, propelling it into the central divider, along with at least two other vehicles.
The Prius caught fire and ultimately became fully engulfed, with its driver inside. We now know that the victim died almost instantly from the initial impact.
There is still no word on what the suspect was charged with.
