Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Jennifer Leon.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:26 p.m.
The decedent and Tommy Roy Rios III used to date, had lived together, and had a daughter. After a falling out and she had obtained a three-year restraining order, he shot her multiple times before killing himself.
This happened at her apartment in the 800 block of Mines Avenue in Montebello. She was transported to a hospital.
