(L.A.) Jeici Serrano, 18, Died in a Driveway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 18-year-old Latino male that occurred in a driveway in Lynwood.

The coroner’s office identified the teen as Jeici Serrano.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Back

RIP JEICI SERRANO (June 21, 2006 – June 12, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

The decedent was a burglary suspect who was shot in the 11000 block of Linden Street, near Imperial Highway.

LASD said he was one among five male burglars who entered a residence at around 1:26 a.m. Deputies arrived on scene at around 1:45 a.m.
