Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jeffrey Hickey.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Sequelea of Heroin/Morphine Intoxication

RIP JEFFREY HICKEY (May 14, 1968 – April 18, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 5:55 a.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
