(L.A.) Jeffrey Faiz, 61, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old male of “Middle Eastern” ethnicity that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jeffrey Faiz.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP JEFFREY Z. FAIZ (October 25, 1961 – March 16, 2023)

The shooting happened at about 8:35 p.m. Thursday in the 3600 block of Military Avenue.

A suspect entered the victim’s home and shot him. Faiz died at the scene.

Andrew Conaway, 35, of Los Angeles was later booked on suspicion of murder and held on $2 million bail.

The suspect appears to have been related to Sarah / Saira Faiz.
