(L.A.) Javon Stamps, 34, Died at a Private Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Black male that occurred at a private residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Javon Stamps.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity
RIP JAVON STAMPS (February 1, 1989 – October 22, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:52 a.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 3, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.

I’m heartbroken by this news and have been in tears. You deserved more, Javon. I remember you telling me stories of being on the streets at night in LA when you had no where else to go, and you told me you were scared one day you might end up dead. I want to believe you’re still here and that we’ll bump into each other in Hollywood again, but this time I won’t cut it short to rush off to work. My first theatrical feature release will be dedicated to you. Big hugs.
