(L.A.) Javier Interiano, 53, Died From Fentanyl

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Hispanic male.
The coroner’s office has identified the person as Javier Interiano.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Ethanol Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 4:25 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 13, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive.
Felix Salazar @ zellified: I was walking to the store when I saw him on the [ground], he was hunched over on his face. There was an older lady in a wheelchair trying to talk to him and she told me, “I think he’s dead”. The man definitely looked homeless. Older Hispanic maybe late 50s really dirty clothes and hands. I checked his pulse and there was none. Just to make sure I flipped him on his back and foam came out of his mouth. No heartbeat on chest, skin looked purple. I called 911 and did some chest compressions until the ambulance showed up. They took over and gave him an IV and I heard the medic say give him narcan. They kept doing CPR and then cops shows up and kicked everyone out. I went to the store and when I came back he was covered with a white blanket and yellow police tape was up. Obviously he didn’t make it. Sad.
Renegadeglow: I was there when the ambulance got there. I think it was an old man. They got the person off the bench and started to perform CPR. a few minutes later I saw the yellow tape and the blanket over the person.
