(L.A.) Jason Owens, 36, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jason Owens.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Dislodged Tracheostomy

Cause of Death B: Sequelae of Blunt-Force Trauma

RIP JASON OWENS (1989 – June 25, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

Long Beach PD said the decedent was walking outside a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle at around 8:30 p.m. on October 22, 2024, at Pacific Coast Highway and Santa Fe Avenue.
