(L.A.) Jason Hoggatt, 37, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old Black male that occurred at a residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jason Hoggatt.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 5:29 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 11, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug. The DME concluded this was an accident and not a suicide.
Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine and sedative mainly used to treat allergies, insomnia, and symptoms of the common cold. It is found in many medicines, including those with these brand names Benadryl and Tylenol PM.
