Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Black male that occurred at a Metro station.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jason Dean.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP JASON DEAN (March 2, 1972 – February 16, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 12:39 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 2, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
