Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jason Arita Hernandez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effets of Fentanyl and Benzodiazepines

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 7:40 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 21, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
