(L.A.) Jan Jackson, 68, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 68-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Jan Jackson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Cocaine and Cocaethylene

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
