(L.A.) James Woodlee Jr., 44, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as James Woodlee Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Congestive Heart Failure

RIP JAMES WOODLEE JR. (October 14, 1980 – February 18, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:50 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 27, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
