(L.A.) James Guzman, 54, Died From Fentanyl Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as James Guzman.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:20 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 14 the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.
This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
