Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Latino male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as James Gayton.

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 12:22 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on August 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
