The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jamal Manning. Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is James.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 12:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 30, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive. This was an accidental overdose.
