Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the infant boy as Jailynn Frantz.

Cause of Death A: Extreme Prematurity

Cause of Death B: Abruptio Placentae

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Placental abruption is a condition during pregnancy when the placenta separates from the uterus.

The child held on to life for seven days.
