(L.A.) Jahkeel Ballinger, 32, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jahkeel Ballinger. Born in L.A. County.

Height: 6 feet 1 inch / Weight: 165 pounds

STATUS: The decedent’s body has been released. Ruling by the deputy medical examiner is deferred pending additional investigation.

RIP JAHKEEL JAHMAUL BALLINGER (April 15, 1994 – May 2, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The decedent had an extensive criminal history, with arrests for assault, rape, burglary, grand theft, battery, DUI, and public intoxication just for the past eight years.

Long Beach PD had just arrested him on March 17 this year for threats of violence. The prosecutor declined to file charges.
