Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old male.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jacovan Offutt.

Cause of Death: Effects of Alcohol, Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP JACOVAN OFFUTT (November 14, 1993 – November 12, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s race/ethnicity as Latino, later changing it to Black.
