Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Black male that occurred in a stairwell.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jacob Williams.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP JACOB WILLIAMS (June 28, 1991 – January 23, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:20 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-September, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
