(L.A.) Jabaree Williams, 28, Died in Leimert Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Black male that occurred inside a vehicle in Leimert Park.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Jabaree Williams.
Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Edley.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 3:55 a.m.
The decedent was found lifeless inside a black sedan in the 3900 block of Third Avenue at around 3:30 a.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 4, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
Leimert Park is a neighborhood in South Los Angeles, known for its rich cultural heritage and historical significance, particularly within the African American community. Developed in the 1920s by Walter H. Leimert, it was one of the first planned communities in Southern California, designed to attract upper and middle-class families. The neighborhood features Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, tree-lined streets, and a variety of cultural institutions and events that celebrate African American art and music.
