(L.A.) Ivan Riley, 60, Died From a Coke OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ivan Riley.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Cocaine Use

RIP IVAN RILEY (February 24, 1964 – April 18, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 2:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the coke.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
