(L.A.) Ismael Cuevas, 28, Died in Long Beach

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk in Long Beach.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ismael Cuevas.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP ISMAEL CUEVAS (August 12, 1995 – December 21, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:34 p.m.

The decedent was shot dead in the 200 block of Eagle Street.

It wasn’t until May 3 did authorities arrest Bryan Lopez, 42, for the murder and other crimes. His bail was set at $3 million.
