(L.A.) Henry Acevedo, 43, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Hispanic male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Henry Acevedo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine, Ethanol and Clonazepam

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Polysubstance Abuse, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizophrenia

RIP HENRY ACEVEDO (March 31, 1980 – July 20, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 3:16 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in June the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
