(L.A.) Heliodoro Curiel, 59, Died From a Meth OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old Latino male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Heliodoro Curiel.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP HELIODORO CURIEL (November 23, 1965 – January 5, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:01 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
