Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a nine-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the girl as Haylee Diaz Martinez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:36 p.m.
 

From the fundraising page: Gilma and Edin’s daughter Haylee and son Jayden were involved in a horrific car accident while on their way home from school. Sadly Haylee did not survive the accident and passed away that same night at the age of 9. Jayden suffered many broken bones and is hospitalized undergoing many surgeries.
