(L.A.) Hardy Fernimen, 86, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 86-year-old Caucasian male that occurred at a residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Hardy Fernimen.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt Force Cervical Spine Trauma
Other Significant Conditions: Coronary Artery Atherosclerosis, Hypertension
RIP HARDY I. FERNIMEN (April 5, 1936 – September 7, 2022)
In 1971, Fernimen was 35 years old and a Los Angeles Police Department intelligence officer in the Hollywood Division when he was arrested by federal agents on charges of possessing pure heroin with a retail value of approximately $320,000.
He and his wife Bonnie, then 32, were arrested as part of a crackdown on a narcotics ring.
