Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Black male that occurred on train tracks.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Hampton Calvin.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Head Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

LAPD responded at around 7:09 a.m. to the 4300 block of Crenshaw Boulevard for a man who had fallen onto the tracks at the Leimert Park Station and was run over by a train.
