Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old Latino male that occurred in a tent on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Gylmar Figueroa.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 12:05 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 1, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
