(L.A.) Gustavo Meneses-Gomez, 34, Died in Westlake

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Latino male that occurred at MacArthur Park.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Gustavo Meneses Gomez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Ethanol

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.

The decedent was found lifeless at MacArthur Park, West 7th Street, Los Angeles 90057.
