(L.A.) Grigor Aivazian, 48, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Grigor Aivazian.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Cocaine Toxicity

Other Significant Conditions: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease; History of Diabetes

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
